Who Gets Lupus?

The People Lupus Has Touched in the U.S.

Your family and friends may have a hard time putting themselves into your shoes with lupus. The closest you can come to someone being able to understand is by finding someone with the condition.

There are more people with lupus than you might think. Finding a place where you can communicate with others who have lupus will be a great way to discover tips for coping, and an opportunity to offer support to someone else who is living with lupus.

Find an active group of people who encourage each other and provide support — the more you put in, the more you'll likely to get out of the experience.
